Value-Added Services
Valmac Industries, Inc. provides additional value-added services to complement our Flat Grinding, Lapping and Polishing services. While many times these additional services are a natural fit to our Grinding, Lapping and Polishing, they can also be useful to customers as the only service needed.
Cryogenic Deflashing and Cryogenic Deburring
This service works well for either deflashing of plastic and rubber molded parts or for deburring plastic parts that have been ground or machined. Check our cryogenic deflashing page for more information.
Value Added Services
Vibratory Tumble Deburring
Valmac operates (3) Sweco 10 cubic foot and (1) Sweco 14 cubic foot vibratory tumblers. Vibratory Tumbling is a virtually unattended efficient method to bulk deburr metal parts. This service is useful for deburring parts that Valmac Double Disc Grinds or Fine Grinds and for other metal parts deburring needs.
Brush Deburring
For metal parts that have flat surfaces needing deburred Valmac operates an OLS MAG4 10” Brush Deburring Machine. This over under machine design is capable of brush deburring two sides of a part in one pass by magnetically conveying the parts past (2) 10” overhead deburring brushes and then feeding the parts onto a 2 nd magnetic conveyor with (2) 10” underneath deburring brushes. Parts up to 5” in diameter or width and length can be processed.
Parts Cleaning
For efficient mass bulk cleaning of parts Valmac utilizes (2) stainless steel rotary auger parts cleaners. These 18’ long aqueous cleaners auger parts in bulk through two spray wash sections, a rinse section and finally through a hot air blow off resulting in parts that are clean and dry.
For more fragile parts or parts that have intricate holes or passages Valmac has (2) Blackstone Ultrasonic Cleaning stations.
Assembly
If our processing is the last step to complete your part that goes in an assembly, Valmac has capable personnel and adequate floor space to provide this service. We are always looking for ways to serve you.
Parts Packaging and Direct Shipping
To assure your parts reach their next destination complete and undamaged, the packaging of your parts for shipment must be appropriate for the part and the shipping method. With this final step being just as important as the production processes, Valmac plans and executes with the same thoroughness and attention to quality as our other processes.
If Valmac’s process is the last step in completing your part, we can package to your standards and direct ship to your end user.
